Telehealth AI Clinical Scribe
Led strategy to redesign the clinical documentation experience, combining workflow evaluations with urgent care, primary care, and behavioral health providers and concept validation interviews to test a new split-pane Chart > SOAP note layout with AI-powered note suggestions and a fully responsive design approach. Findings surfaced duplicate documentation, buried patient history, and clunky medication workflows as key pain points, while validating that separating active visit notes from history reduced clicks and that AI suggestions were well-received by providers as a promising way to reduce documentation burden. Research translated into prioritized design recommendations — including a streamlined chart summary, smart data pulls to cut redundant fields, and refined AI-assist and prescribing flows — now informing the next iteration of the design across screen sizes.
